
Hello, Welcome to the website for The Tin House, in Llwyngwril, which is on the West coast of South Snowdonia National Park in Mid to North Wales. The Tin House is located on the newly launched Wales Coastal Path and is served by the Cambrian Coast Railway line and also a bus service. Llwyngwril is a quiet and pretty village with a path following the river (Gwril) down to the beach. Relaxing here is easy! We are close to the Mawddach Estuary, where there is an extensive array of wildlife to be seen and the old railway line provides a level path for cycling and walking.
The village is served by the Cambrian Coastal Railway, and also buses to the surrounding towns and villages.
Walking is popular here with many wonderful walks from the village, and also a little further a-field, such as Cader Idris, and Cregennan Lakes and Bird Rock in the Dysynni Valley.
There is also, excellent Fishing, Windsurfing is popular with experienced surfers at this highly rated beach for this purpose, also Cycling, and within easy reach of Coed y Brenin, National Centre for Mountain-Biking. There are many Narrow Gauge Railways such as the Talyllyn Railway and Fairbourne Railway in the area for Steam enthusiasts. |
